and how they landed.

The feature catalogue.
Choose an area or follow a feature from launch to its latest documented state. Open a row for evidence and caveats.
The toggle includes Search and Shopping entries, plus features whose recorded themes mention search or shopping. Filters apply to this catalogue; the timeline and sections below keep the full record. Shared features appear once, under their primary area.
What people said.
Selected voices, grouped by theme and segment. A quotation is a person’s reported experience, not a test of the feature or a representative sample.
Patterns. Interpretation
The research workers’ synthesis of the examples they found. These are bounded interpretations, not causal findings or rules for the next launch.
What the research could not confirm.
Unknown dates, lifecycle questions and missing evidence stay visible. An absent source or a missing reaction is not evidence that nothing happened.
How this was compiled.
Six AI research workers compiled these records by reading public pages on 18–19 October 2026. This page merges their catalogues; it is not an independent re-verification of every source. Coverage ends at the dates documented in the research, often 18 October. No private Pinterest information is used.
READ means the worker opened the page and saw the text. SNIPPET means only a search excerpt was seen. UNSTATED means no reading label was supplied. A research summary is labelled as a summary and is never presented as a direct quotation. Pinterest’s rationale and figures are attributed to Pinterest.
Reception counts describe what was found and retained, not how many people felt a certain way. Sentiment labels, group syntheses and patterns are the researchers’ judgment. “Little recorded reaction” and “unknown” describe limited evidence, not public indifference. Quotes can concern a later experience rather than the launch itself. Repeated sources and selected anecdotes are not independent observations.
Exact name-and-date matches are merged, with both areas retained; differently named versions can remain separate. Unknown dates are kept separate. The timeline bins by the recorded launch year, without inventing a month or day. Missing dates have their own column. Status uses shape and fill, never a rise/fall colour.
Summaries are shortened for this page. Source links, date caveats and status caveats provide context. Reddit comment permalinks and handle-bearing entries are stripped; they are never replaced with fabricated links. At most two press and two user reception items are retained per feature.
